It's June 19, 2015 

and the cancer has come back.  They found  two  lesions on my brain, and one on my spine.  

Hi, my name is Cordell, and I'm 14 years old my favorite color is blue and I like to ride fixies and trick scooters.  I love my life with my family and friends, but on May 15th 2014 my life took a turn of its own; I found out I was diagnosed with AML (Acute Myeloid Leukemia).  I have two sisters younger  ages 12 and 8 years old, a dog name Daisy and a cat name Felix. We live in San Jose, California, and I go to Sierramont Middle School.  I have a lot of real cool friends there, and I miss seeing them at school.  I was going to play football when my grades got better, and they did right before I got very sick.  I am almost done with the first round of chemotherapy and I have 3 more to go.  It's going to take at least 6 months in and out of the hospital, but most times I will be in the hospital because chemotherapy destroys all the cancer cells including my white blood cells that I need to stay healthy.  I don’t feel well most of the time but when I do I enjoy playing video games, board games, reading books, watching movies but most of all spending quality time with my Family and Friends.  

I decided to create this page because my parents have taken so much time off work and from their day to day lives to be here for me. It means a lot to me that they choose to be here with me day and night, and my Yah Yah took off from her practice coming to help is very nice because it helps my parents.

 Although it has been difficult for my parents to keep things afloat they manage to do the best they can, but there is still the stress and financial worry I feel for them.  I would greatly appreciate any contribution you can offer them while I get well.  

I realize just how much my friends and family love me, and I miss them. So please for me, whatever you can would be nice.
